BBright announces the new version 2.0 of its UHD-Decode solution, which can now process up to eight HD video channels or two Ultra-HD channels.

Capable of receiving contribution streams in transport stream over IP or DVB-ASI formats, the BBright solution decodes HEVC, H264, MPEG-2 videos as well as JPEG2000 and JPEG-XS, and routes them in all ST-2110 formats , SDI or HDMI.

UHD-Decode supports the latest generations of audio codecs (including Dolby AC4 and Atmos) as well as High Dynamic Range (HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision).

The new UHD-Decode has been designed to simplify the reception of contribution streams, and promote the migration of workflows to all-IP solutions. Regardless of the format and the source, the gateway decodes this stream. The solution is also scalable with Ultra HD support, and makes it possible to process both traditional streams transported over satellite or fiber links, but also contribution streams distributed over cloud architectures.
